Peoplesoft Architect - Hyderabad

Title: PeopleSoft Application Architect




Experience: Minimum 7+ years

Job Functions:



• Architect new client environments before the environment build process is started.

• Monitoring current server capacities and recommending the timing for new server purchases.

• Proactively investigate and suggest better uses of current technologies that help with gaining efficiencies or saving money.

• Proactively investigate and suggest the use of new technologies that help with gaining efficiencies and/or increase ROI in new technology initiatives.

• Maintain current application configuration standards for applications hosted by CedarCrestone, including Oracle database, SOA Suite Components, Oracle Apps / E-Business and PeopleSoft.

• Suggest new application component standards to stay current with changing technology trends or client environment usage.

• Work with the various Architecture Services teams such as Windows, Unix and Network to ensure all architected system components are validated.

• Attend vendor technology briefings in order to understand potential uses of new technologies.

• Participate in new technology implementation projects in an Advisor Capacity

• Research new technologies that may position CedarCrestone in competitive edge in the market.



Required Skills:



• 7+ years of professional experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator and Oracle DBA.

• Experience with PeopleSoft releases 8.x and higher

• Experience with Oracle 9i and 10g. Prefer Oracle RAC 11g configurations experience.

• Experience with the Oracle SOA Suite products and configuration will be a huge plus.

• Oracle Certifications a plus

• Knowledge of application load balancing technologies

• Ability to research new products requested by clients and assess their viability for the CMS environment

• Strong ability to carry out assigned administrative tasks with the need for limited supervision

• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems

• Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards

• Willingness to travel to US for short durations as needed.

• Willingness to work at US Time zone when needed.
